Texas History Lessons is a podcast about Texas history and much more. History is an important area of study and it is fun. While most of the focus will, of course, be on Texas, I feel that any endeavor to study a place or a people is lacking if you do not have a proper context for what was happening elsewhere in the region, country, continent, and all over the world. It provides perspective. The study of Texas history is the study of a place and of people, and all of the people that have ever lived in Texas have come from somewhere else and have ties to other places and cultures.
